What a full bathroom renovation includes
Most bathrooms in Waterford houses were fitted twenty or thirty years ago and have not been touched since. A proper renovation is not new tiles over old problems – it is taking the room back to the walls and floor and rebuilding it so it lasts another twenty years.
Strip-out and preparation
Remove the old suite, tiles and flooring, check the sub-floor and walls for damp or movement, and fix what we find before anything new goes in.
Plumbing
Re-route pipework for the new layout, fit new valves, waste and supply, and install the shower, bath, WC and basin. Pressure-tested before the walls close.
Electrics and lighting
Extractor fan, lighting, shaver socket and heated towel rail planned with the layout, so nothing ends up in the wrong place once the tiles are on.
Tanking and tiling
Wet areas waterproofed before tiling. Wall and floor tiling in ceramic, porcelain or stone, with level thresholds for walk-in showers and wet rooms.
Shower and sanitary ware
Walk-in enclosures, wet rooms, bath and shower combinations, vanity units and storage. We supply, or fit what you have bought yourself.
Finishing and decorating
Ceilings, woodwork, sealing, silicone and a bathroom-grade paint finish. This is the part most bathroom fitters leave to you; for us it is where the job ends.

How long does a bathroom renovation take?
It depends on the size of the room and whether the layout changes – moving drains or forming a wet room takes longer. We give you the timeline in the written quote and stick to it.
Do I need to buy the suite and tiles myself?
No. We can supply everything from the trade suppliers we use, or fit items you have already bought. Either way we check sizes before you order, so nothing arrives that does not fit.
Can you do a walk-in shower or wet room in an older house?
Yes. We tank the floor and walls, form the falls to a linear drain and use a level threshold so there is no step. It works in timber-floor houses as well as concrete.
Is the work covered by insurance?
Yes – we are fully insured and VAT registered.
